Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Instagram Content Studio (“we”, “the site”) handles information when you use the web app.
1. What we store
- On your device (localStorage): UI preferences, form selections, content idea, optional AI API keys, generation history, and cookie-consent choice. This data stays in your browser unless you clear site data.
- On our servers: We process generate requests (prompt preparation and, when you choose a keyed provider, a proxied call to that provider). We do not intentionally store your API keys or generation history on the server.
2. AI providers
If you use Puter, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google, your prompts and outputs are processed under those providers’ own terms and privacy policies. Review their documentation before sending personal or confidential content.
3. Cookies and advertising
This free studio is supported by advertising (for example Google AdSense). When ads are enabled, you must accept advertising cookies to use the service (generate content and use the main tool). Declining ads locks the studio until you accept. About, Privacy, and Terms pages remain available without accepting.
Advertising partners may set cookies or use similar technologies to serve and measure ads. You can change your choice via Cookie settings in the site footer (accepting unlocks the tool; rejecting locks it again).
Google’s use of advertising cookies is described in Google’s advertising policies.
4. Analytics
We may use privacy-oriented or standard analytics in the future. If we do, this policy will be updated to name the tool and the data collected.
5. Data retention
Browser-stored data remains until you delete it (history clear, cookie reject/clear, or clearing browser storage). Server logs from hosting (e.g. Vercel) may retain request metadata for a limited period according to the host’s policies.
6. Your choices
- Accept advertising cookies to use the studio, or decline and leave (the tool stays locked).
- Change your choice later via Cookie settings in the footer.
- Clear local history and settings from the app or by clearing site data in your browser.
- Do not paste API keys or personal data you are not comfortable sending to an AI provider.
7. Children
The site is not directed at children under 16. Do not use it if you are under that age.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
