Carousel post ideas with your own API key
Looking for a carousel post ideas tool with an API key? Instagram Content Studio lets you pick format Carousel, choose a hook formula (IG5–IG8), and generate with Puter or your own OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), or Google Gemini key. Keys are kept in the browser and sent only with generate.
Why carousels are a separate mode
A carousel is 2–10 image slides (API publishing caps at 10; the native app allows more). Slide 1 has to earn the swipe in under a second. The last slide should be worth saving on its own. Middle slides carry one point each, readable in about two seconds on a phone. Front-load the strongest value on slides 2–3; swipe-through drops as people go deeper.
The studio drafts on-image text ideas, caption, and hashtags. You design or photograph the slides. Instagram rejects text-only posts: no images means no publish.
Using your own API key
- Open passateoria.info and accept ads when required for generation.
- Under AI engine, choose OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google (Gemini).
- Paste the key into the field that appears. It is saved only in this browser for that engine.
- Hit Check status so the studio can confirm the key before Generate.
- Set Format → Carousel, then goal and formula.
Keys are not stored on our servers. They leave your browser with the generate request so the chosen provider can run the model. Prefer Puter if you do not want to manage keys; switch when Puter credit is used up or you want a specific model. Details: Puter vs own API key.
Pick goal, then formula
| Goal | Carousel formulas that fit | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Saves | IG5 Listicle, IG6 Before/After, IG8 Steal-This Framework | Lists, steps, named frameworks people reopen |
| Shares | IG7 Myth-Buster | Correcting a belief your niche actually holds |
| Follows | IG6 Before/After (strong payoff slide) | Proof + “follow for more” on the last slide |
Do not invent straw-man myths for IG7. Do not invent result numbers for IG6. The studio prompts for honest specifics; if your brief is vague, the slides will feel padded.
Reliable slide spine (what to ask for in the idea box)
- Slide 1 (hook) — promise + open loop (“most people miss #4”). One idea, big text.
- Slides 2–3 — strongest points first.
- Middle — one point per slide; no filler to hit 10.
- Last (payoff) — one-slide summary worth saving + one clear ask (save or follow).
Sweet spot for teaching carousels is often 6–10 slides. Fewer than 4 is usually better as a single static post. Example idea:
7-slide listicle for remote PMs who lose mornings to Slack. Goal: saves. Formula IG5. Slide 1: “7 rules that cut my morning Slack from 90 minutes to 25.” Include the real rules I use (batch at 11:00, mute #random, …). Last slide: one-page checklist + save.
After you generate
- Edit on-image lines so each slide stands alone.
- Shorten caption; keep the hook before the “more” fold.
- Keep about 3–5 hashtags (niche + mid, at most one broad), not thirty.
- Export, then build 2–10 images in order (all images or all video, not mixed).
- Post in Instagram or your scheduler with media attached.
